Career Development
The last two decades have raised awareness of how certain industries pose a major threat to the global environment. The auto manufacturing industry, in particular the auto feeding industry has been cited as directly responsible for air & noise pollution thus affecting a sustainable green environment. It became a hot topic in the political arena of western nations.

In addition to international pressure, manufacturing innovation & technical advances resulted in the introduction of catalytic converters.  In order meet stricter emission control standards, in 1975, manufacturers began to install catalytic converters on domestic cars. This device is situated between the exhaust pipe and the muffler & is responsible for converting harmful carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons into carbon dioxide and water vapour. Newer converters also change nitrogen oxides into harmless oxygen and nitrogen.

Talent Management

By law, these catalytic converters must remain on the vehicle. In response to reducing noise pollution, the muffler lowers noise through the use of perforated tubes and baffles that permit the exhaust gases expanding into the area between the tubes and the outer shell of the muffler. This expansion slows and cools the exhaust gas flow, which reduces noise without obstructing the flow of gases.

At Abouel Yazeed we have embraced technical innovations that support a greener cleaner environment and combined that with a stringent recycling policy of scrap metal.

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, recycling scrap metals is beneficial to the environment. Using recycled scrap metal in place of virgin iron ore can yield:

  • 75% savings in energy
  • 90% savings in raw materials used
  • 86% reduction in air pollution
  • 40% reduction in water use
  • 76% reduction in water pollution
The environmental care policy implemented at our plant, has been a pivotal aspect of establishing international affiliations & partnerships. We continue to invest in R&D that not only reduce damage to the environment, but that contribute to global sustainability.
